Corporate Social Responsibility
Making a difference

Our values make us different
As a business we take our role in the community very seriously.
Like any responsible modern business, we make a point of giving back to the communities in which we serve. And, given our unique heritage, it is perhaps no surprise that we demonstrate such active social responsibility and environmental awareness.
Andrews' founder Cecil Jackson-Cole sincerely believed that commercial success should benefit society - which is the ethos we continue to follow today.
Did you know over the last 15 years we've given over £5 million towards charitable projects.
As an organisation, we are committed to giving back in a number of ways:
ACT

Three charitable trusts - including Andrews Charitable Trust - were set up to take ownership of Andrews and develop Cecil Jackson-Cole's vision of a socially responsible business.
Each year, Andrews pays a minimum of £300,000 as an annual dividend to support the work of these trusts, which in turn support a number of important causes including homelessness.
You can find out more by visiting the Andrews Charitable Trust website.
Estate Agency Foundation

Andrews is a founder member of the industry's charitable foundation, the Estate Agency Foundation (EAF) which encourages the industry to raise funds for a number of homelessness charities including Shelter, Emmaus & Centrepoint.
Andrews Community Challenge

Andrews is passionately committed to supporting its local communities - and actively encourages staff to get involved in their communities. This year, Andrews launched the Andrews Community Challenge which encourages staff to apply for small grants to help with community projects in which they are actively involved.
Each month, a member of staff and their local cause is recognised internally within Andrews, and annually members of staff are eligible for the Raymond Andrews Community Champion Award -find out more by reading our list of winning causes.
Cecil Jackson-Cole Award
Every year, Andrews awards the Cecil Jackson-Cole award for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the estate agency business in the UK that has demonstrated a clear CSR initiative which has had a tangible benefit to employees, the company and to a particular cause. Our aim is to encourage others within our industry to make a positive contribution to their communities and to charitable projects, following the lead set by Andrews. In 2010, the award was given to Streets Ahead for their ongoing involvement with Nightwatch, a homelessness initiative in Croydon.
