James Taylor
Chair of the Board
James joined as Chair of Andrews Property Group in 2023.
He is a Chartered Surveyor who has operated across UK Regional Markets in both commercial and residential property since 1999, and who acts as Managing Director of Adapt Real Estate, a company he co-founded in 2009.
James was previously the Independent Chair of Brighter Places Housing Association, the largest independent landlord in Bristol, standing down in 2022 having led the creation of Brighter Places through the merger of two legacy HAs, and secured the highest G1/V1 rating for the new organisation from the Regulator for Social Housing.
He is a Cambridge graduate, and a longstanding Visiting Fellow in Real Estate at University of West of England.
